Terms of Service<\/h1>

Welcome to Xtellaris<\/strong>. By accessing our platform and participating in our auctions, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully to understand how our hybrid Web2\/Web3 system operates.<\/p>

1. The Xtellaris Model<\/h2>

Xtellaris provides a unique “Lowest Unique Bid Auction” (LUBA) experience. Unlike traditional auctions, the winner is determined by the lowest bid value that has been placed by exactly one participant at the close of the auction.<\/p>

2. XPoints and Payments<\/h2>

To participate in auctions, users must purchase XPoints ($1 USD = 1 XPoint). These credits are used to pay entry fees and place individual bids.<\/p>

Non-Refundable Policy:<\/strong> All XPoint purchases are considered final. Once crypto or fiat funds are converted into XPoints, they are non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn. XPoints represent non-refundable revenue for Xtellaris and have no cash value outside of the platform.<\/p><\/div>

3. Auction Mechanics & Fairness<\/h2>

Our system uses a hybrid model to ensure speed and transparency:<\/p>

  • Off-Chain Speed:<\/strong> Real-time bidding and winner computation happen off-chain for an instant user experience.<\/li>
  • On-Chain Integrity:<\/strong> All bids are recorded and anchored to the Polygon blockchain using Merkle Trees every 5 minutes. This creates a tamper-proof audit trail.<\/li>
  • Anti-Bot Delay:<\/strong> To prevent unfair advantages, losers’ notifications may be subject to an artificial delay (1-3 minutes) while winner and collision feedback remains immediate.<\/li><\/ul>

    4. Transparency and Auditing<\/h2>

    Every auction is provably fair. Upon completion, Xtellaris publishes a full bid log and cryptographic nonces. This allows any user to mathematically verify that their bid was included in the Merkle Tree and that the winner was selected fairly according to the rules.<\/p>

    5. User Responsibilities<\/h2>

    By using Xtellaris, you agree to:<\/p>

    • Maintain the security of your account and connected wallet.<\/li>
    • Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with your local regulations regarding digital auctions.<\/li>
    • Acknowledge that participation involves digital assets and that Xtellaris is not responsible for external blockchain network congestion.<\/li><\/ul>

      6. Prize Fulfillment<\/h2>

      Winners are notified via the platform and email. Digital prizes are distributed via our Gnosis Safe multi-sig treasury to ensure institutional-grade security. Physical or specific NFT prizes will be delivered according to the auction description.<\/p>
